Xiaozhou is a fourth year PhD student, originally from Hubei province, China. He received his MS degree from the Zhejiang University of Technology in China. Xiaozhou moved to USA in 2022 to start his PhD studies in the University of Mississippi. He is really interested in the organic synthesis-based research and likes to play Basketball in his free time. 

Nishadi comes from Kandy, Sri Lanka, and is a third-year graduate student. In 2021, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, receiving a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry. To pursue her greatest ambition of becoming an organic chemist, Nishadi moved to the USA in 2023 to begin her graduate studies and joined Dr. Penghao Li's group. She is currently working on the synthesis of nanostructures based on triptycene. In her spare time, Nishadi enjoys watching movies and learning new things.

Nadia Sultana is a second-year Ph.D. student in Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. She completed her B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. in Chemistry at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Before pursuing her doctorate, she gained professional experience as a QC Officer, Research Fellow, and University Lecturer. Her research interests lie in the field of carbon nanoarchitecture. Outside the lab, she enjoys cooking, especially desserts and exploring new places.  

Imash Siriwardana is from Sri Lanka and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, where he developed strong research interests in organic synthesis, spectroscopy, analytical instrumentation, and natural products, particularly focusing on their potential applications in advancing scientific and medical research. Beyond academics, he enjoys listening to music and exploring mobile photography, which provide him with relaxation and a creative outlet alongside his scientific pursuits.
