Xiaozhou is a third year PhD student, originally from Hubei province, China. He received his MS degree from the Zhejiang University of Technology in China. Xiaozhou moved to USA in 2022 to start his PhD studies in the University of Mississippi. He is really interested in the organic synthesis-based research and likes to play Basketball in his free time. 

Nishadi comes from Kandy, Sri Lanka, and is a second-year graduate student. In 2021, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, receiving a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry. To pursue her greatest ambition of becoming an organic chemist, Nishadi moved to the USA in 2023 to begin her graduate studies and joined Dr. Penghao Li's group. She is currently working on the synthesis of nanostructures based on triptycene. In her spare time, Nishadi enjoys watching movies and learning new things.
